Why I chose Pitt

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because of its research diversity. Graduate school is an important period of career development (beyond the obvious) because this is when you discover what you are interested in scientifically. There’s no substitute for the chance to see and experience a wide-range of research to help you discover your “scientific self”.

Beginning May 1, 2013, Jospeh will be a Postdoctoral Associate at the Carnegie Institution for Science, Department of Embryology in Baltimore.
