Why I chose Pitt
I was attracted to the opportunity available at Pitt, the feeling that I wasn't going to be constrained by a lack of resources. The research is diverse; entering through the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program meant I could explore several areas before committing to a specific program.
Following her graduation, Dr. McClendon accepted a position at the University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg as a Visiting Research Professor of Biology and Biochemistry.
