Why I chose Pitt

Deciding factors for choosing this MSTP were the renowned researchers in developmental biology and regenerative medicine, the access to world class facilities, the vast resources of clinical expertise available through the UPMC hospital system, and the medical school's early and extensive focus on clinical training. When I'm not in the library or lab, I enjoy running, playing pick-up basketball up at Trees, and exploring the restaurants and scenery around Pittsburgh.

Mark returned to Medical School at the University of Pittsburgh after defending and completing his thesis defense.
